  4. I wasn't really interested in anything except for Mac Demarco's Another (Demo) One, which was nowhere to be seen at my shop. So over RSD. Picked up M83's Junk while I was out anyways.

a burst and I'm awake now Supporter

I don't usually bother with RSD as there aren't any stores in the state I live that carry anything I'd be interested in, but a really great store in Sydney threw some leftovers up on their site today so I grabbed:

    - 'Doused in Mud, Soaked in Bleach' Nirvana tribute compilation
    - Beach Slang - Broken Thrills pic disc
    - La Dispute - Tiny Dots
    - Nothing - A.C.D/Suns and Lovers 12"

That was pretty much everything on my list that I wanted, besides the Circa/mwY 7" so I'm happy with that.

Thanks. most are sealed. I have all studio LP's besides The Rising, but I don't have any room left.

Can we talk about how much SRC nailed these Blink reissues?

They sound great, the packaging is perfect and I actually feel like I own the REAL albums now, and not shitty Hot Topic presses.

Recommended to all, I should be getting TMTATS and Untitled in the new couple weeks.

    Do you have High Hopes?

Supposedly he's reissuing The Rising at some point in the near future. And then there's going to be a new album, so that might throw a wrench in your display too. Just start switching out his worst records, haha

Yeah, I have High Hopes, Devils & Dust, The Promise, Seeger Sessions, and Greatest Hits, just no room. I'm only really missing The Rising, Unplugged, 18 Tracks, and Live in New York. I mean, the boxset was 'Volume 1', sort of insinuating a Volume 2. But then I'd still have to have OP's. Haha

I always forget Devils even got pressed.

If you're looking for The Rising, this listing might be worth watching: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN RARE SEALED THE RISING DOUBLE VINYL LP C2 86600

    Shut the FFFFFFRESHFISH UP

I'm not a huge Springsteen fan (I think his music is great but I just don't find myself seeking it out) but this is seriously impressive, well done.

I am getting around to updating my new Discogs account (waaaayy easier than Dead Format honestly). I've gone through all of my 12" & 10" records and I'm working on doing my 7" records, as well as the records I've inherited/been given by family.

Also, I picked up a few things on RSD:
    -Circa Survive/mewithoutYou split
-Thelonious Monk - London Collection Volume 3
    -David Bowie - TVC 15
    -Mystery Side-by-Side

I wanted to get Sun Ra's "Spaceways" but the store I went to didn't have it. I'll see if I can pick it up online somewhere.

  14. The fact that I live within spitting distance of Asbury Park and don't own a single Springsteen LP is frankly inexcusable.

Thanks man I'll watch it. They tend to be the kind of LP's that get MAJOR action the last 5 minutes of the auction.

I just keep hoping to walk into a store and see that someone turned it in. I'd still have to pay 150+, but it'd be cheaper than typical ebay.

Yeah, I think there are three on there right now and the other two are $350 - $450. I don't care enough about original pressings to jump for that, haha. I'll wait for the repress.

I've got OP's of everything else, I'm already in the dumpster. What's another few hundred bucks? Lol

The late 90's-Early 2000's stuff is just unreal prices.

I remember getting D&D for 90 bucks a couple years back and being STOKED.

Yeah, I've never even looked for his 90s records. I got the first eight in like, the first month of owning a record player because I could get them all for like $100 total. I don't really like anything about Human Touch or The Ghost of Tom Joad though, so I don't really see any need for me to own those. I also don't own Working on a Dream, just because I doubt I would ever spin it.

Human Touch and Lucky Town are okay for what they are. It was Bruce thinking he was bigger than the band as a whole, and he found out that he wasn't.

Tom Joad though, that is a fan-fucking-tastic record. It's better than Nebraska, in my opinion. He's happiest when he does his most bleak albums, and he hit it out of the ballpark. I'd recommend a re-listening. Straight Time is a great song.

Working on a Dream, it's the weakest of his late 2000's records, Wrecking Ball and High Hopes blow it out of thenwater, but it's good to dust off every so often.nI still regret not seeing that tour.

He has a new acoustic record chambered for late 2016-early 17. I'll pay good money for another solo tour.

I tried searching for the Star Wars picture disc but couldn't find it.

Edit: Found it. Bought it. Got the only thing from RSD2016 I wanted. Good stuff.

I was thinking the Star Wars picture disc would be around the stores for awhile, I mean, there's 15,000 of them.

I haven't gone back to any stores since Saturday, but is that not the case for your stores?
