I haven't listened myself yet (will tonight) but it seems my dream about this album being awesome and featuring Aaron Weiss has come true. I just need to wait until this evening...I can do it.

 

Getting a chance to really take in this little ditty now. I did two work listens and I enjoyed myself.

 

Also is it supposed to sound like BE! AGGRESSIVE! on Rose Colored Boy? Idc it rules

I've warmed up to the 2nd half of this already. I was just expecting a whole album of bangers like the first few tracks.

I read the kingdom leaks comments just to see if they mention fixing the skip... man that community hates this record.

I no absolutely nothing about that community but it seems like they didn't enjoy the "pop" direction... this is so much more than simply pop direction tho right?

Paramore are whatever they want to be. I have never been disappointed because their music is always genuine and intuitively their own. People won't like this direction but it doesn't seem at all out of place considering S/T.

I've got it all planned to leave on my lunch break tomorrow, go buy the CD, and bump the whole thing in my car for the rest of my break.

The tracking for my package says it won't be here by tomorrow - probably Tuesday at the latest.

But I am not too sad, I kind of like the thrill of going into a record store and having the excitement of buying it in person and holding it in my hands and all that. Cracking it open, putting it in the CD player...ahh the days of my youth.

 

i still regularly use the same disc man i used in high school (13 years ago)

 

My plan is to buy it around 11 when it goes live on iTunes and go for a night drive. :)

 

Yes!! Picking the one album I would have all day long for the bus ride and school was such a chore. That's why I regularly made mixed tapes so I could throw a bunch of whatever I may have wanted together. Now, no smart phones/spotify/youtube back then so in the event that I wanted to listen to something and I wasn't home on my computer...SOL.
