Wu Tang played mid day last time they played. But I can definitely see them closing a stage this year.

I think the hip hop / headliner conflict is the most likely for sure

 

Wu played the same time as the Get Up Kids doing all of Something to Write Home About the year I went. I was bummed that I had to choose between the two.

 

Yep that sucked, I got to catch the last few Wu songs, I think I left right after they finished the album

 

On a whim and the middle of a chaotic day at work I accidentally got VIP tickets not realizing the price. It says no refunds or exchanges. And VIP is will call so I can't even try to give them away. Anyone ever run into this at riot fest before and find a way to get your money back? If they let people upgrade they should let me downgrade lol

 

Not this specifically, but a few years back my friend inadvertently bought regular passes and meant to purchase VIP. He called Ticketfly, said a mistake was made, and it took some finagling but... He was able to talk them into allowing us to upgrade (this was before that was a thing).

Different scenario, and it was about three years ago but... I would just give TicketFly a call and make your case. Couldn't hurt.

 

No rise against for a 2nd wave band with their newly announce tour with ptv

 

When I searched for Story of the Year on Ticketmaster, Riot Fest popped up.

 

Fuck yeah that would be awesome I missed them when they where here a few years ago

 

Interested in seeing these Against Me! tour dates that are supposed to be coming today. If there's no Chicago date, I think they're pretty much confirmed for RF.

It also looks like The Maine is not playing the Chicago date with Dashboard and AAR. There's also no Milwaukee date, and the Maine said last night they thought they would be back in the Fall, so either they have their own fall tour planned after this run, or they are playing Riot Fest and they are going to try to schedule a show in Milwaukee that weekend as well.

 

The Maine have fall plans.

 

Do you know for sure what they are? Fall plans could still mean they're playing Riot Fest unless you know they have a separate Chicago date. Doesn't matter to me either way as long as I can see them again haha

 

Well apparently I have no idea what I'm talking about because Against Me!'s tour dates safely rule them out.

 

Against me is playing concord September 30th

Streetlight Manifesto is playing in Michigan on Friday that weekend, so they'll probably play Saturday.

 

Yeah they're definitely Saturday. They already revealed it and they're playing Cleveland on Sunday

 

According to the e-mail that went out this morning the $179.98 passes are almost gone. Doesn't mention anything about the current VIP tier...

It also says that more bands are "coming soon." Very vague, haha. I keep hoping for a specific date!

 

AFI and Basement are playing shows in Australia the same weekend as this, so they're both out for the second wave announcement.

 

Thought AFI would be a lock as well
