And about "Tom haters" this convo isn't even going on if Tom isn't stirring shit up with "yeah me and Travis are talking about things" like blink has lots of shows all throughout the year and plan to record before the end of the year, like when does anybody think he's going to squeeze in something with you Tom. Travis' "ha" reply to Tom's tweet was basically the "k" or "lol" you get back when someone doesn't want to talk to you haha.

Like when you have that person who just won't stop messaging you when you're busy so you reply "ha" without even looking at what they wrote. You just saw lol at the end and assumed it was a joke lol

I wish they didn't release three songs off the deluxe. It killed the hype for me.

 

I have a couple of those.

 

It's gotten me more hyped especially misery and 6/8. I do plan to go dark on any California song though starting Friday until I get the CD so as to avoid it being watered down for me

 

For sure. For example, five albums of AvA vs. one of +44... All of those different concept albums in a new style might have been an ambitious move, but after one album, the bulk of it was rehashed and recycle. His creativity was pretty limited.

+44's lone album might not have been as ambitious of a jump from blink, but it was definitely more original and creative, IMO.

 

Mark's part at the end will always be my favorite.

 

I like "Misery" and "6/8" more than like 90% of California . An album of darker stuff like that would be so great!

I stopped listening to the deluxe tracks too to stop myself burning a certain one out like a did with BTD and UAN in 2011

I've heard each deluxe song once. Partially to not burn out but also because Misery is the only one I wanted to hear more than once

I hope they grow on me once I hear it in full

I like both sides of the California coin. But yeah I'd dig if LP8 was more in gear with those two; I even consider Misery one of the top 5 from this album and it's deluxe together

I never heard Travis's voice for the first 5yrs until I got Urethra Chronicals finally on VHS

I was completely gobmacked when HE was the one who got the reality show!!

 

Travis is that guy that could get away with murder.

 

If Tom and Travis did something together again, whether it be with BCR or something else....
